Default Information about Gulfport MS card rooms

I'm going to be in the Gulfport area later in the month and was wondering if anyone has recommendations/comments about playing there. I read an article in one of the card mags not long ago that said the Beau Rivage usually had a good 10/20 game. Anybody know if there's any truth to it?

"usually" is a big stretch. What they usually have is an interest list. Limit holdem is just about dead in the south. You can probably find a 10/20 there on weekends.

Here is what is better than asking for opinions, and what I do. Just make a phone call to the casino at some random time of the day and ask for the poker room, then ask them what kind of limit holdem games they have going right now. Doing this at various times of day, and days of week, will give you a good idea of how likely you are to find a game.

Thanks emerson. Capital idea on the phone calls, too.
