My thoughts on this hand: first, CO was 55/22/2, but kinda aggressive on flop and turn. He potted flop and turn with air some times before, and slowplayed a set of jacks. SB was tight preflop but a bit loose passive postflop. On the flop i went for an check/raise, but after SB called, i was a bit confused, but got good odds to call. When SB checked again on the turn, I was pretty sure I have the best hand, so I fired a valuebet.

Other question: what about preflop? Calling here in the BB ok with this hand? Is folding or even raising better? </font>

i like a reraise here against these opponents, get it HU, and it is a lot easier to play from there, btw your bet on the turn is beyond horrible IMO

Vs this goofball, you should definitely raise preflop. As has been said, c/c the turn. As played, it looks like a fold.

Turn is a solid bet. Checking here is bad since villain is unlikely to fire another bet into 2 players after getting called on an Ace-hi flop. Plus, there are plenty of broadway draws that you don't want to be giving a free card to.

you might as well c/c the turn and probably c/c river since the guys a huge donk.
Against a passive reg i'd c/c flop and probably c/f turn.

with my read, I'm pretty sure he would have bet at least 45 on the turn. Wouldn't that commit me?
