Songs tainted by movies/ shows...

I know this isn't a movie/show but a lot of the songs from Guitar Hero 1 & 2 have been ruined for me. Although I still enjoy them while I'm playing.

cadillac commercials have done a job on zeppelin's Rock and Roll. I don't watch CSI, but if I did I'm sure it would ruin Who Are You for me.

Exactly. That's the most glaring one I could think of by far. I saw Singin' In the Rain for the first time in a college class with a whole bunch of kids who had probably never seen it before, and everybody busted up howling with laughter when they started in on that song. Absolutely unredeemable from its associations.

This is a beautiful piece of music which I can only associate with "Ordinary People." It is frequently used as a wedding processional in Jewish weddings (not big fans of Strauss) and it always depresses me. I refused to have it played at my wedding.
