It would be so nice to go to a casino/card room down here and not feel like I'm on another planet. It has been so depressing to watch what feels like a living nightmare as poker is butchered and played in such "donkament" fashion. [img]/images/graemlins/confused.gif[/img]

im working at coconut creek and at 12:00 tonite we will be dealing high stakes normal poker.. nl 1-2 2-5 etc... limit 2-4 4-8 etc. pl omaha 2-5, stud and hilow omaha will be 5 max bet games though... the holdem has larger than 100 max buy ins... (good call way back when vox)

BTW please be empathetic towards your dealers, most will be inexperienced at this. I believe coconut creek has had the most extensive training to meet your standards in this new era. gl all

Most dealer in Florda don't have a clue. Very bad training. I hace watched dealers let the next BB move 6 places at the table-- watched small blind move 3 places.--The dealers allways incorrectly handle side pots. Sorry this should be posted elsewhere. Fort myers dog track had no idea what a "first seat change button" is and have no intention on getting them. Yikes

I don't know what's worse those passing off bad info as fact, (iopsycho/soulvamp) or the sheep that fall in line behind them (bocablkr).

Was at HR Tampa today. New limits in place up to 15-25NL.

Why were they lying? It says they were offering high stakes for hold em.Were they spreading higher then $5 for omaha or stud?

Just got back from hardock hollywood, they had 10/20 limit, 10/25 no limit, about an hour wait when i went at noon today. The dealers were trying their best but definitely making mistakes.

We had 3 different dealers, and 3 different floor managers tell our table different things about rake on a pot with no flop. Finally it was decided no flop, no drop, but for a floor manager to get that wrong is real embarassing.
