Default Shortstackers at low stakes

I'm wondering if anyone has played with any regular shortstackers at 1/2 2/4 and around what their winrate is. I have a small bet with a friend and he claims 6+ BB/100 while I claim below. My only reasoning is that if it was anymore, there would be a ton more shorties, and that these games are nitty as hell generally. Thanks for any help.

Wouldn't suprise me if some of the best shortstackers could achieve that rate. Alot of people will loosen their calling ranges wayyyy to much against them which is how they get their edge, so @ 1/2 and 2/4 they can do well.

Right. A year or two ago I could see this happening, but games now I don't really see it unless game selection is super excellent. However shortstacking is so automatic I assume finding 10 good tables would be hard. I find it hard to believe 6+ is possible, if only for the reason it's higher than my winrate, and it seems so much easier .

FWIW, shortstackers have an intrinsic advantage on a table w/ 5 full stacks, there destined to win!

When people are talking about BB/100 on these NL forums are they talking big bets or big blinds.

They're talking about PTBB (PokerTracker Big Blind), it's 2 "real" BB and corresponds to 1 Big Bet in limit (there's no such thing as a Big Bet in NL).

Untill recently, PT always showed your winrate in those "big bets". Now you can choose how you want it shown.
