Live 5/10 KK OOP Deep

Venetian 5/10, 9-Handed. Villian is a guy I've played with a couple times. We are talkative/friendly. He is a solid player, not loose but not overly tight, not prone to making a lot of moves but he plays well enough that I figure he is capable. He doesn't 3-bet much pf. Hero is viewed as tight/solid.

Hero has 2000, Villian is on Hero's left and covers easily.

Hero has K [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] K [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] in MP.

Preflop
UTG live straddles to 20, UTG+1 calls, Hero raises to 100, Villian raises to 200, Hero calls.

Flop (455): J [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] J [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 4 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
Hero checks, Villian bets 200, Hero calls.

Turn (855): 6 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
Hero checks, Villian bets 400, Hero thinks and calls.

River (1655): T [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
Hero checks, Villian bets 1000, Hero tanks for a while and folds.

he's underbet every street. Usually a strong hand will put in a strong bet on either the turn or river. I call here as you're underrepped ur hand, ur definitely good often enough.

Deep OOP I like the way you played it, but I would check raise the turn. He bet 400, I would make it 1000 straight. I don't think he calls with QQ,TT,99,88.... he may call with something like AK with A of spades, but it is unlikely that is what he has based on your assesment of him. If he pushes all in on your turn raise, you can obviously fold.
If he calls your turn check-raise A)you can check/fold a blank river B) you can bet small with a spade on the river... if he raises your river bet, you can fold (meaning he has A spades).

raise more pre - a raise to 100 in a B&M 5/10 game w/ a live straddle? Do not like - should be 150 at least.

i think you avoided aces honestly. it's hard to see any other hand he might have. people don't three barrel bluff in live games, do they? what in the world is QQ value betting against here - 99?

hard to think of a way to play THIS hand better - i'm not sure how to exploit villain. as a long term strategy leading flop/check-raising flop may be better, or four betting pre, but these things are usually only any good in situations where history/metagame exists.

Ughh this really boils down to his 3 ball percentage with AK. Value betting QQ on this river makes no sense. I lean toward a fold

guys come on its a live game, I've seen people 3 barrel 88 and 78 and AK like this.
