Because of the way you played your hand, I think you need to call. It is close, but you have no information on your opponents hand due to the way you played your hand and you played in such a way as to induce bluffs and thin bets. I think a cr on the turn would have been okay as well, but not necessary.

what line does he take with AJ/AT/JJ/TT/JT/JhXh then?

[/ QUOTE ]

im really interested in this. how would he play these hands, especially JJ/TT if not like he did in this hand?

[/ QUOTE ]

I think he would just check behind on the river /w JJ/TT or bet smaller for value.

I think he would play all those hands same as he has, but bet smaller with smaller sets on the river. The thing that makes this hand so tough is how extremely underrepped OP's hand is, so it's concievable the Villain could actually be betting for value with JT or something... but bet-sizing says it's not and you're probably beat. Also, yes, he can be betting with a heart draw this deep since he's just about deep enough to call a c/r and stack OP if he hits.

I don't like c/r'ing anywhere in this hand period, or 3-betting that flop since the board can get exponentially uglier and then we're stuck with a big hand on a terrible board OOP and deep... I would prefer keeping the pot smaller until I either improve or get a clearer picture of where I'm at. River is probably a fold, sick as it is.

FWF,

I laughed, but I seriously hope you're joking (which I think you are). Going broke with top set just because you have top set is no different then the fish "always going broke" with AA. Hand-reading is a nifty little skill.

I really don't understand c/c on this turn. I think this crappy river spot is a direct result of it, and that a shitton of value was lost from JJ/TT/JT/AJ/AT...
