Anybody play at The Grosvenor Victoria London
Just wanted to see if anybody here also plays there.
I think its quite a good card room but playing 4 * BB for table rate is ridicilous. Saw Victoria Coren and Willi Tann playing there the other day!

[/ QUOTE ] Yes I'm a regular, look for my old posts I'm too lazy to do the search, plenty of comments there. Anyway don't let a few Z-list pseudo celebrities fool you (I'm not talking about Tann), the PL games there are as soft as whipped cream if you have the bankroll to handle countless suckouts. Any break-even 1-2 player on Stars could disintegrate any table in that room.

I actually played there for the first time last night. The 0.50/1 NL table was downright atricious. I make about 175 in four hours playing super TAG. I will probably play 1/2 or 1/3 NL next time.
I know they have a 2/5 and 5/10 uncapped NL game there, but not sure if they run other than weekends.

Up until then I had never seen a NL game bigger than 1/3. At any rate, the juice is in the Pot limit games, that attract the old guard. £3/£3 and £5/£5 are the way to go.
