Default 1/45 turbo - deuces n the big blind.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t400 (7 handed)

Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

It's 200/400 with a 25 chip ante, so there's 725 in the pot pre-flop.

SB (t12618)
Hero (t3469)
UTG (t8290)
MP1 (t2150)
MP2 (t3660)
CO (t4898)
Button (t1640)

Preflop: Hero is BB with 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
<font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, <font color="#CC3333">MP1 raises to t2150</font>, <font color="#666666">4 folds</font>, Hero ???.

After the raise, there's 2850 in the pot, and it's 1725 to call. That's 1.6-1. Is there enough to call here? Villian - and the table - have been playing pretty tightly.

I hope I'm being leveled.

When a player shoves all-in in a micro-limit turbo with a M of less than 3, it's obvious that 22 is way ahead of villain's range. OP should be calling with even worse hands than that.

i didn't like this.. calling off with 22 isn't bad or anything but i'd rather save the rest of my stack for open pushes and hands that have some chance at being big favorites... but i don't play turbo tournaments at all so calling with 22 could be incredibly standard here.

maybe i just fu*king hate deuces

This player has a M of 3 and moves in, but has been playing tight even with his small M, so he probably waited for a big one didn't he, PP, AK, AJ, AQ? I think this is pretty read dependent if you have really seen him folding almost every hand, despite of his bad M you should fold, but if he was unlucky getting this stack or just folded a few hands it is a definitive call. Against a normal player this is an easy call.

It's a breakeven call if he's pushing as tight as 22+,A5s+,KTs+,ATo+,KJo and nobody pushes that tightly with an m of 3. Even tight players realise they have to push wide here (or they get bored waiting for AA ) Easy call (though the idea as posted above that 22 is ahead of his range is rather optimistic)
