Advice Needed: Paradise Cashout for Canadians

Hello,

I've been playing at Paradise for a while now and always used Neteller. Since the switch I absolutely can't stand the place (like most people) and plan to cashout. I have a moneybookers account that I was thinking of using to make a small deposit ($20 or so)and then withdrawing to. Have any Canadians had any luck with this? I'm a little leary about putting anymore money in.

Alternately I was thinking of just requesting a cheque and not bothering with the hoop jumping. Has anyone cashed out via cheque since the switchover and if so could you please let me know how long it took and if you had to write to them or do anything else to get it.

I withdrew my $600+ balance to my Moneybookers account shortly after the network change with no problems. As a matter of fact, I'm 90% sure I did NOT make a MB deposit first - just went ahead and cashed out. Give it a try!

Be forewarned, the cashout process is rather strange. I did mine, and it seemed like nothing had happened. IIRC, my balance didn't even change. Then, lo and behold, the money showed up in MB a couple of days later!

Ok, I tried a small withdrawal using Moneybookers and it worked [img]/images/graemlins/shocked.gif[/img] Money was in the account within 12 hrs.

I asked for a cheque on May 20 and still waiting. My cheque from WPX took about 6 weeks, so I think a 4-6 week wait is standard for an overseas cheque
