Default $1+.10/45 turbo, lvl 1 - board gets scary.

On a previous hand, Villian flopped a straight w/QJo, potted it 6-way, then made little bets on the turn and river HU. No other reads (not that this is a read, is it?)

Woohoo! I flopped a set! This board is semi-drawy, though.

Did I raise enough here? I'm just getting started in tournaments, and I 'm thinking that I should have raised more to price out the flush/oesd's.

Turn: (t1150) 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (3 players)

Hmm, that isn't the card I really wanted to see.

MP1 checks, CO checks, Hero bets t520, MP1 calls t520, CO folds.

Looking back, this bet may have been too much?

MP1 checks, Hero checks.

Waaaah. I wuss out here?

Final Pot: t2190

In short, I flopped a great hand, but it got worse and worse. At first, I thought I played it well, but thinking back - I'm not so sure. I'm not even sure I played *any* street correctly. Any thoughts and opinions welcome.

raise the flop to at least 400

Turn bet is too small

Valuebet the river

I agree that the flop raise was too small. I just made it 3x his bet without thinking too much about it. He's still getting something like 6-1 to draw, if he's on a draw, and he can call that correctly with alot of hands.

On the turn, I've got 1120 in chips, and I bet a little under half of that. Any more than that, and I should just shove, right?

Basically, from the turn onward I should be pushing? That's really the only valuebet I can make, since I only have around 5-600 chips left, and the pot is 2190.

I like 400 on the flop and shove turn.

Hell I think I just jam the flop. Any Q is calling thinking you're drawing, and I doubt anyone is folding a draw anyway.

OK, I played a similar hand to the one above - how'd I do?
