Re: Can relationship trust be regained?
Oh yeah, I've been there. I think you can both recover from this. Your fiance won't suspect you of snooping in the future unless she has something she's afraid you will find.
Complete trust in somebody can be a scary feeling at first because it leaves a person somewhat vulnerable, but if you can get to the point where you're completely homest with each other, despite having to face the consequences, it is the closest, most intimate feeling in the world. Also, it actually sets you free. Free of doubt, free of insecurity and free of having to act like a detective all the time. |

Re: Can relationship trust be regained?
I have been in this spot and feelings for another man is should be the end of your relationship. I also found this out, of course it was after I was married. This girl is not the one for you if she has developed feelings for someone else. Plus trust will be hard for you from now on. Take it from somebody who has been there and get out before the wedding, I wish I could have done that. Marriage is hard enough without any trust issues. Good luck and run for the hills...

Re: Can relationship trust be regained?
Duder, you didnt break her trust, she broke yours. Dont let her try and get any sympathy or try and turn some blame on you. Tell her she [censored] around, not you. So, to find out the whys, ask her why she did it, and dont let any of this "i dont know" bs fly, theres a reason, she knows, have her spill it. Go from there.
Again, if shes got a problem with you snooping around on occasion, tell her a firm pimp hand is required, and that theres a reason whores need to be stabled. |

OP, Relationships are not about love, they are about possessing someone. This means that someone can never slip up. If they do, you end it with them immediately. [/ QUOTE ] If you really think this, you must be pretty scarred. |

Re: Can relationship trust be regained?
OP,
Look at all the responses that have been given in this thread. Has one person stated they had a girlfriend do this to them and were able to maintain the relationship? The answer is no. While you hope that your girlfriend might be special and will stop cheating, truth is she will not. Her daddy issues make it more likely that she will always seek validation from men. Besides, do you still want to go out with a girl that didn't have strong enough feelings for you to not cheat? |

Re: Can relationship trust be regained?
Thanks for the response VR, you made me feel better. I thought it was odd too that she brought it up now, she said she was talking to a friend about bad times and it got brought up and she felt compelled to tell me.
