Re: WPT Borgata Poker Classic thread
i wasnt really shocked, much less surprised by Chuck Kelley. I mean he was making some pretty retarted calls with like J high......I thought it seemed like he was trying to hit one of his hole cards all the way till the river.....like they would have been good if he hit them. so when this guy turned over his cards on the last hand, I didnt even bat an eye.

Re: WPT Borgata Poker Classic thread
The last hand deserves another MS-paint like the hand with EG.

Re: WPT Borgata Poker Classic thread
Nothing beats E.G "God speaks to me" Harvin. But Chuck comes pretty close.

Re: WPT Borgata Poker Classic thread
I just watched this episode tonight. (Thank you, Tivo.) My jaw literally dropped when Lucky Chuck exposed his cards on 4th street. The frickin' board was right in front of you! I can only guess that he was exhausted after however many days of play and had a major brain cramp. Every amateur must worry about making a fool of himself on national TV, and he just succeeded.

Re: WPT Borgata Poker Classic thread
I kind of noticed a similarity between this final table and the Foxwoods (I think?) final table, when Nenad Medic won. The worst player at the final table manages to get 2nd place by sucking out in various situations and making technical errors (Harvin's string bet, Kelley exposing his cards), as well as the two professionals (Medic and Tran) placing 1st and 3rd.
But how do some of these people manage to make final tables of $10K events?? They must've been on ridiculous card rushes or something. |
