Default 50NL: TPTK on dryish flop

Just sat down at table. No reads or stats on villian.

I didn't reraise preflop as I have no reads or stats, and also dont want to inflate the pot while OOP, is this wise or not?

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.50 BB (6 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

UTG ($13.5)
MP ($126.85)
CO ($90.05)
Button ($56)
SB ($50)
Hero ($59)

Preflop: Hero is BB with A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
<font color="#666666">3 folds</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Button raises to $2</font>, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, Hero calls $1.50

Flop: ($4.25) 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 10[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
Hero checks, <font color="#CC3333">Button bets $2</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $7</font>, Button calls $5.

Turn: ($18.25) 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">Hero bets $14</font> Button calls $14

River: ($32.25) 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
Hero checks, <font color="#CC3333">Button bets $14</font>, Hero calls $14.

Final Pot: $46.25

Villian showed down 4 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 7 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] to my absolute horror, was this poor play by him or by me for not making him pay enough to draw out on me?

Looks fine, I'd bet 16 on the turn.

as played i would like this line as well.

otherwise, i would have 3bet PF if i was going to play this AQ OOP or folded. 3betting allows for good chance you pick up the pot PF with a hand that is a little difficult to play OOP. and you also force him to better define his hand, again helping you play OOP (albeit for a more bloated pot).

as played PF, i think it was played pretty well.

dont post results!

Well played and I'd even bet the river. Don't be result oriented.
