damn everyone lives in the Tampa (non Miami) area. Is the job market better up there or is it just a coincidence there is no "SEMINOLE HARD ROCK MIAMI" thread?

[/ QUOTE ]

Job market is excellent in Tampa. There are a ton of buisiness hubs in the greater Tampa area. Less competition and more demand.

O RLY? I just saw this:
Tampa #2

Tampa, Fla.

A nice place for a vacation, around a quarter of houses in Tampa are investment or second-home properties. As for people who live there full-time, the city ranks among the lowest for young professional concentration.

Ive lived here my whole live. Went to school in Gainesville AKA no jobs available capital. Moved back and immediately found a great position with Suntrust Bank. Ended up leaving the bank b/c I was offered a position at another sales position making roughly 15-18k more annually. My annual gross income sits right under 55k. Cant complain here. I guess they say it isnt too great for young proffessionals b/c so many older proffessionals love it here....and we all no who gets the pick of the litter.

Don't forget impossibly high insurance rates and English-as-a-second-language communication problems in the service industry.

Well...If you love golf, fishing, boating, marine aquariums, beaches, good sports, hunting, endless summers, and now "real" cardrooms filled with donkeys...this might be the place to live. I try to focus on positive things in live...b/c everywhere you go there are going to be things to complain about.

Yes it is...cant argue with that. I dont see it getting any better either. October 1st the Florida No Fault will expire. We will have to wait to see what Charlie Christ does.
