A lot of you guys expressed the logic that I used to criticize his play. He has 40 invested, and one person is strong, if not both of them, which was in fact the case. More often than not there is a bigger set here and definitely a flush draw. I would pick a better spot to put my money in, as hard as it would prob be.

however, he would be getting great odds to triple up, so the decision to gamble with the best hand is reasonable too. I guess it is a matter of how nitty/crazy you wanna play it.
