almost every morning i am in a zombie state playing fake online poker

my dream last night was ridiculous. i hit my $10K mark for downswing then go to bed. i fall asleep.

this dream is that i have switched sites to full tilt. i am playing on a live table with the table cover being 'full tilt' logo etc. a conversation starts about how i preferred playing on another site becuase i could multitable and how slow this site is, one guy then says to me how you can multitable if you want to. i then look around and see clones of myself playing at other live tables. then some army guy comes in and blows up two of my clones at two other tables. i then wake.

I used to have my digital clock radio alarm set to 6:10 AM, but had to change it because whenever I'd see the 6-10, I'd "fold" it by turning it off.

I get that too but for me sometimes it lasts all night long. I am totally aware that I am in my bedroom because I wake up every now and then and see that I am in my room, but it's like I'm just stuck in this poker game all night. I see flop after flop but for me I can never hit the flops. I just constantly lose and it's basically a nightmare but I am half awake. Sometimes I'll even imagine losing huge sums of money and when I finally do wake up I wonder if I really lost or not.

I really dont think you are playing too much, many people work 50-60 hour a week jobs. Poker is easier that most jobs, because its your choice to play it and you get to be directly involved in the action. Why do you think your dreams are effecting your sleep quality? Its just your opinion, im curious

last night everytime i closed my eyes i was multitabling. when i woke up in the daze state it was ridiculous, i kept on working out whether or not i could win/lose money based on whether i called someone's all in. one hand i was in the zombie state, some guy goes all in, i think arouse myself out of the zombie state, realise if i call i wont lose real life $, so get myself back into zombie state, and make the call. cant remember if i won or not.

yea Ive been there. The solution is to have a few hours separating between when you last played and when you go to sleep.
