Its fine. He could have 44 or 99, but that's really about it.

A turn lead would probably scare AK and JJ/QQ away, you want these hands to take a stab at the pot. I think you played it fine, except for the small flop bet. On the river, you are ahead of 3 Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]Q combos, the occasional weirdly played 9, and you lose to 3 JJ combos and one combo of flopped quad nines. So i don't think you can fold there. Sucks if he had JJ, but you can't be afraid of two outs.

[/ QUOTE ]Why would JJ or QQ want to take a stab at the pot? If he bets, he'll scare out all the hands he beats anyways. And a hand that calls will definitely have him beat.

I'm not saying i would bet the turn with JJ/QQ, nor that it would be a smart thing. But hero bet small on a drawy flop, then checked on a scary turn card. Quite a few aggressive opponents auto-bet here. Villain is a preflop-LAG, although his stats seem to hint that he slows down postflop.

I think betting 25ish on the turn planning on paying off a push or push the river if he calls is ok. I doubt he'll fold a PP TT+ with a spade, but he'll probably check these hands through.

If you think he's aggro enough to take stabs with PPs I c/r turn. I think c/c turn is bad since he'll pay off with a wider range on the turn given that he might easily have a decent fd. If you feel he'll go gonzo and bet a wide range when checking both turn and river well i guess then your line is fine, but the stats aren't enough to justify these assumptions imo.
