There was a study where they entirely cut off a few people from the outer world for some weeks. Obv no clocks, no tv, no inet and no daylight so they can not determine what time of the day it is. Their "day" took sth around 25 - 25.5 hours, so yeah, it seems a little more than 24 hours is natural

6am - 4pm at the moment

It'll basically push back by about a half an hour per day until I just say, "screw it" and stay up until like 10pm and then the cycle starts over again.

I swear I'm on a 25-26 hour day schedule.

I go to bed at 10 pm, wake up at 7 am.
Next day, I go to bed at 11 pm, wake up at 8 am.
This keeps going until I go to bed at 5-6 am and wake up around 1-2 pm ish and I get stuck there for a while.
Then I stay up all night/morning and force myself to get back to a regular sleep schedule and the cycle returns.

This might not be the right forum (prove them wrong BBV) to have an in-depth discussion, but i've never believed humans followed a 24 hr cycle. I know I certainly never have, and if you live lifestyle like mine, [censored] it. Go to sleep when you're tired and wake up when you're not, and don't stress over what is natural and what isn't. I believe the majority of the world suffers from what can be classified as chronic sleep deprivation.

Word. Although being a poker player I think i may be one step beyond this in that my sleep schedule often revolves around me getting unstuck.

Mine are [censored] horrible. I usually stay out drinking until 4 am on Fri/Sat nights, so I end up waking up Sat/Sun around noon or 1 pm. Then I end up all screwed up during the week when I have to wake up between 6 and 8 am for work but still can't get to bed before 1 am.

man...sleep....ummm.
sometimes i play for 24 straight then hibernate for 15-20. or get hammered at a random time and pass out. or play a few hours/ sleep a few. pretty much when the brain shuts it off, i crash.
i work a few halfdays (1pm-5pm) a week as a bike messenger, sometimes after being up for 30+. ultra safe!
