Re: Bellagio III WPT $10k event
As I will be playing in this event also....I looked on just about every poker related site out there, and found nothing regarding the actual blind/ante/time level structure. It does seem they are breaking the start into TWO separate groups A & B the first two days though:
EVENT: WPT No-Limit Hold'em Championship Event ROUND: N/A BLINDS: N/A ANTE: N/A PLAYERS LEFT: N/A VIEW: EVENT SCHEDULE | BLIND STRUCTURE | PAYOUT STRUCTURE DATESTART TIMEDAY July 10, 200701:00 PMDay 1 July 11, 200701:00 PMDay 1B July 12, 200701:00 PMDay 2 July 13, 200701:00 PMDay 3 July 14, 200712:00 PMDay 4 July 15, 200712:00 PMFinal Day |

Re: Bellagio III WPT $10k event
There's a WPT event starting on Day 2 of the WSOP Main Event? WTF are they thinking? Is the second Day 1 supposed to be for people who are still in the World Series on the first Day 1? |

[/ QUOTE ] It will def. screw people up that get to Day 2 of the WSOP,which I believe is Monday, and then get knocked out.....which will then result in a "MAD" rush to Day1b of the Bellaggio Cup lll on July 11th? All of the Bellagio pre-lims have been a complete failure thus far IMO as well.I think yesterdays $5k drew only 39 runners. The planning behind some of these high ticket events just amazes me sometimes.....way too many events with a giant price tag,and also that they were all basically NLHE! ~stephen feraca |

Re: Bellagio III WPT $10k event
The structure was included in yesterday's press release from WPT...
World Poker Tour(R) to Film New Season VI Stop, Bellagio Cup III, Next Month Wednesday June 27, 6:00 am ET WPT Will Test Modified Structure at Final Table LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The World Poker TourŪ (WPT) will travel to Las Vegas next month to film the newest stop on the Season VI circuit--Bellagio Cup III--and will test a modified final table structure. Satellite tournaments are already underway at Bellagio where players can qualify to play in the $10,000 Bellagio Cup main event held July 10 - 15. "We are always thrilled to return to the incomparable Bellagio to work with Doug Dalton, Jack McClelland, and their distinguished team," said Steve Lipscomb, Founder, President and Chief Executive Officer of the WPT. "I've spoken with numerous players and tournament directors over the past month regarding optimal poker tournament structures, and I believe we all look forward to seeing how this test works at Bellagio Cup III." "We're looking forward to Bellagio Cup III becoming a new tour-stop on the World Poker Tour," said Bellagio Tournament Director Jack McClelland. "The tournament structure will be similar to the one players have come to enjoy during all of Bellagio's WPT events. They feature plenty of time during the rounds and a large number of chips for those skilled players to maneuver throughout the tournament. The final table structure will be the same until we reach the final two players when we will change to 60-minute levels." The following WPT structure(a) will be tested at the Bellagio Cup III: 1st Level - $50 - $100 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- 2nd Level - $100 - $200 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- 3rd Level $25 $100 - $200 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- 4th Level $50 $200 - $400 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- 5th Level $75 $300 - $600 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- 6th Level $100 $400 - $800 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- 7th Level $100 $500 - $1000 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- 8th Level $200 $600 - $1200 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- 9th Level $200 $800 - $1600 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- 10th Level $300 $1000 - $2000 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- 11th Level $400 $1500 - $3000 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- 12th Level $500 $2000 - $4000 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- 13th Level $500 $3000 - $6000 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- 14th Level $1000 $4000 - $8000 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- 15th Level $1000 $5000 - $10,000 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- 16th Level $2000 $6000 - $12,000 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- 17th Level $2000 $8000 - $16,000 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- 18th Level $3000 $10,000 - $20,000 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- 19th Level $3000 $12,000 - $24,000 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- 20th Level $4000 $15,000 - $30,000 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- 21st Level $5000 $20,000 - $40,000 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- 22nd Level $5000 $30,000 - $60,000 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- 23rd Level $10,000 $40,000 - $80,000 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- 24th Level $15,000 $60,000 - $120,000 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- 25th Level $15,000 $80,000 - $160,000 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- (a) 90-minute levels until heads-up play; 60-minute levels during heads-up play |

Re: Bellagio III WPT $10k event
This event will get a good crowd. A lot of pros will bust out of their day 1 of ME of WSOP. @ least 250 runners will probably be in this WPT event. Between 350-400 is the standard for WPTs nowadays tho...
Also, usually 5 levels a day @ 90-mins each @ the Bellagio. |

Re: Bellagio III WPT $10k event
If I read that right, it's gonna be 90 minute levels down to 2 players, which marks an improvement from normal WPT Final tables, right? Structure looks decent. I'll take the under on 350 players.
