We just found out that for a brief period earlier this month, our check processor was unable to issue checks. That resulted in longer than average wait

So, when FTP support said something like "I can also verify that your check was mailed on June 19th" (upthread) does that mean support was lying to the player? Or does that mean your check processor was lying to you and support was just passing on bogus information?

Hate to say it but I just don't see how that can't be a lie. And I think that's what has frustrated us the most. When as a customer you have concerns and inquire about something, and the reply from support basically makes you sound like an impatient idiot, that's a problem. Completely unacceptable. We're not stupid. If you tell me my check went out two weeks ago, if it's not in my mailbox, I can tell you that it's not coming. The 15 day stuff is a load of garbage.

no matter what the problem is (bots or delayed checks etc.)

please just don't lie to us. If it's going to take 4 months to get our money (exaggeration I know) just tell us that, that way we can "plan accordinily" and not go ZOMG MY MORTGAGE IS DUE I NEED THIS MONEY!
==========

As both Rikakazak and Nfuego20 put it, we don't want to hit the panic button. We can be patient people. We understand that these are not ideal times. But the lying and misleading information must stop.

Thank you for contacting Full Tilt Poker Support, and we appreciate your
patience in this matter.

Please be aware that when we send out our checks, we are largely at the
mercy of US Postal Service when it comes to delivery times. Having said
that, after reviewing your account, I can see that only 11 business days

have elapsed since time of processing. I can understand your
frustration and realize that this is a substantial amount of money but
at this time, we ask that you be patient and allow the full 15 business
days to expire. If the check is taking an unusually long time to
arrive, please email us back and we will be happy to investigate the
matter further.

On behalf of Full Tilt Poker, I wish you the best of luck at the tables.
Should you have any other questions or concerns, please feel free to
contact us.

Regards,

Peter O
Full Tilt Poker Support

The biggest problem I have with FT and Bodog is that they can come up with new deposit processors in no time to send them money and skirt the UIEGA in nanoseconds, but when it comes to paying us it's a whole different story. These sites are so full of crap, bottom line PokerStars is taking care of its players with no payout delays,FT and Bodog are not. Im taking my all my business to PS, that is whenever I can get my money from these jokers that dont care about paying me, but can take my money with no problems. Plus the banks and Justice Dept have already said there is no way to enforce the UIGEA, or monitor payouts, via check, so these check processors that are (according to the sites) slow walking us now are full of crap too!! Bodog and Fulltilt are just as the good ole rounder's qoute says "stickin it into us" f'k them.
