1/2 NL: Interesting Decision to Make (Results to Follow)
9 Player Live Ring Game,
STACKS: Villain: ~$100 Hero: ~$100 Villain is Loose passive (Stationy), but is known to make crazy moves on occasion..We have a pretty solid history against each other.. I didnt Continuation Bet this flop because villian is a known station, and assumes I know that..So, I played as if i missed and didnt want to put any more money in. Preflop: Hero is dealt KhKd (8 Players) 3 folds, MP Limps, Hero Raises to 8, Villain Calls 8 on the CO, Btn Fold, Sb fold, BB fold, MP folds. Flop: ($21) 2h 2d 8c Hero Checks, Villain Bets $6, Hero Raises to $20, Villain Calls Turn($61): 6d Hero? Results to follow, lets hear some hand predictions and potential plays on this turn... |

I don't understand your read. "known stations" don't level you by folding because they know you know they are stations. If he's a station, just bet the pot and watch him call you down with 77 or something. At this point, you are WA/WB and I would probably c/c him down. If he checks the turn, bet the river obv.

Uh bet pot, get all in, you have a tiny stack vs a donk. Nothing about this hand is interesting, sorry.

Uh bet pot, get all in, you have a tiny stack vs a donk. Nothing about this hand is interesting, sorry. [/ QUOTE ] He made an unnecessary "call me/build the pot" bet on the flop of $6 into a 20$ pot...then just flatcalls a raise to 20.. 1. You'd think a smaller overpair than kings would push all-in after my reraise to 20.. 2. Any other hand would probably bet more than 6 or just check to the turn..Anything 77 or weaker probably folds to my reraise.. Despite my sense that he was slowplaying a monster, I pushed all in on the turn.. He called and flipped over 88. Despite the loss, I think its possible to slow down on this hand, given all the blatant information I received on the flop action.. Small underbet, flatcall of a strong raise.. no draws.. Can I get away from this at any point after the turn? |

W3rdy303- When I suggested that you check the turn I was talking about pot control, not folding. Also, I missed the fact that you only have 50BBs each. At no point are you EVER folding this hand EVER. Get it in on the turn if possible.
