Default Do you three bet the turn?

The mp is a typical taggy type...the SB is the fish that brought all of us together...

3-bet turn and either b/c or c/c river depending on whether he caps...not sure about river though without stronger reads.

No. I don't 3-bet the turn. He raises preflop, then checks a ragged board? A TAG doesn't check behind on this flop very often unless he has a monster. I call down.

I think his "monster" is an overpair or AK enough to 3-bet this without hesitation.

When was the last time you (or any other TAG) checked behind AK on a J76r flop?

AA, maybe. KK, stretching it. QQ, no way.

If you think he has AA or KK then call the turn raise and checkraise a non-K, non-A river. Or, bet-call a non-scary river.

I remember being surprised he checked through... I wondered if he caught a set of jacks, possibly an overpair, maybe air like AK (the fish would call virtually anything) but I have never seen a check like that from him before... I remember reading in Hilger's book online about how there is so much more check-raising online then in live games...it's because of the auto-bet on the flop, which I would have c/r'd...

I would have 3-bet. The suggestion of check raising a nonAK river has merit.
