Default I often hear i should raise on turn

Yet here it cost me alot.

You didn't raise in this hand ever. You bet ... raise implies that somebody bet ahead of you and then you RAISE that bet.

This hand was played fine, if a club comes on the turn/river you're hand is disguised since you're semi-bluffing. I'd say don't overbet the flop though, that's where your mistake was. Bet more like .25 on the flop and then .70 on the turn (given the new pot size).

bad spot to two barrel IMO because an ace is by far the most likely hand for villain, and he ain't folding.

against an unaggressive opponent you could block it, otherwise check and evaluate your implied odds if he bets.

once in a while, I'll three barrel this. I check/fold flop with check/calling second.
