flop raise is closer to a crime, turn check is standard imo.

I don't think so. I don't like the flop raise very much though.

And I do think it's a crime to post 1 million hands in less than 1 hour...

Yeah, you got the free one, take it. Pot's not big enough for the semi-bluff to be profitable, methinks.

I dont think you have the best hand often enough to invest more money to protect it, and that is the main reason for raising the flop.

Not raising keeps your implied odds intact too

Forum traffic around here is like a quarter of what it was a year ago so I don't have any problem with someone posting a bunch of hands. Maybe some more thoughts/reads next time though.

Problem is the CO still hasn't acted so you may not get a free card. Are you saying you are meant to Call both the flop and the turn hoping the CO doesn't raise?

You've probably got a 30% chance of hitting your straight by the river on the flop. By raising the flop it gives you the right odds to see the river. By just calling the flop you will probably be forced to fold the turn.

If it was me, I would either fold the flop due to the small pot or go aggressive and see the river. I think the way you played it the check on the turn makes sense. hopefully you will only need to call 1 bet on the turn.

Thoughts?

boo boo, raising without an equity edge to increase your pot odds on later streets is not correct. i find it really weird that you would rather raise or fold than call this flop.
