I think this is only KK/AA

LOL. what kind of nitfest tables to you play at? This can easily be 10-10+. Often you see another AK.

Insta-call, and its not even close.

If you are going to fold to a shove, you shouldn't 4bet in the first place. Why are you 4betting then? Only because we assume he will get it in with worse. If not, you might as well have 72o here.

while i see the logic behind this statement (i often say it myself)...i think its just plain wrong in some cases. Sometimes you dont have all the necessary information til you raise or get raised. many times you walk into a trap and dont realize it til the trapper finally shows strength. Not saying this is necessarily one of those times but i think his shove is cause for concern at the very least. If co had folded and button shoved this would be a much easier call. I dont see tags doing this too often with JJ here....i think QQ and AK make up his range some of the time but very less and a majority of the time its KK/AA.

SNAP CALL???

If we assume he is doing this somewhat loosely (ie AA,KK,AKs,QQ-1/2 the combinations) then you are 35% to win against this range so it's not even close with these odds of 2.5 to 1. Snap call. To be getting an exactly even money call he needs to be doing this with only AA/KK/2of6 comb. of QQ so this has to be a pretty easy call without a specific read. You basically need to be almost certain that he absolutely always only does this with KK+ to make this a solid fold.

im still at nl200 (sry for posting in too balla forum) but these spots give me trouble as well.
i did some pokerstoving:

you have to call 357 for 900 you need 28.4% equity for a call to be correct.
equity of AKs vs
AA 12.1%
KK 34.1%
KK+ 23.1%
QQ 46%

if he pushes only 2 of the 6 possible QQ combos here (2 out of 8 pushes) your equity is 28.9% which is enough for a call. 2 QQ combos still means that he doesnt have KK+ here 25% of the time.

i think this is extremely marginal given the action.

if he does this with some AK as well calling gets better and better. but i doubt he overpushes here with AK

I think an argument could be made for a smaller 4-bet. Since stack sizes are ~100BBs, if you had AA and 4-bet to maybe 190-200, there's still no hand that the BTN is correct to call that he would be correct to fold for 225. But for all intents and purposes, the smaller 4-bet would serve the same purpose, but also allow you to fold in such a situation when you have AK instead.
