Poker account has a negative balance, what are my options?
I made a withdrawal of 600 dollars into Neteller from Doyles Room and emptied my account in there recently. About a week later they (DR) debited my Neteller account for another 600$, apparently a mistake of some sort by their part. During that same day, I received an email from DR that says:
"According to our system and Neteller backend you were paid your withdrawal on x.xx twice. We have withdrawn the amount from your poker account, so your balance is now negative. We thank you in advance for your cooperation on the matter. Should you have any further questions on the issue, please do not hesitate in contacting me again." -X.X Anyone else had similar experiences? What consequenses are there to be expected when an account is negative? I can't play on that site again until it's back to positive? Or can I just keep the money and never play on doyles again? The right thing to do is give them the $600 back. What you actually do is down to you. There won't be any negative consequences to not giving the money back apart from not being able to play at Doyles until your balance is back into +ve and bad karma obviously.

It doesn't sound like he was paid twice. It sounds like Doyle's room reversed a withdrawal, and then when he did the withdrawal again, they accused him of being paid twice and took $600 from him. Is that right, OP?
If that's the case, obv e-mail Doyle's Room support and bitch until they give you your $600 back. |

OP's wondering if he should just keep the extra Neteller money or get rid of the negative balance in his DR account. |

Re: Poker account has a negative balance, what are my options?
Doyle's Room is really awful with money. After they exited the US they gave options to move money to FT or get a check. I requested a check and after not receiving it for around a month, I talked to them and they said they can't do checks anymore, but can do a bank transfer.
I gave them all my bank info and waited a while longer. Nothing happened, so I contacted them and they seemed confused and offered to do an FT transfer (meaning they hadn't even done the wire at all). I told them I still wanted the wire and they said it'd be there within a week. A couple weeks later, it still wasn't there and they again offered an FT transfer (meaning they still hadn't done the wire since they wouldn't do both at the same time). I just agreed on the FT transfer and it went through within a day. |
