PF: Open for 450.

Flop: If you are gonna cbet, bet 1/2-2/3 pot. 750 does nothing.

Turn: What is this bet? Like.. are you trying to make him fold?

River: shove?

I don't see him calling on the flop with a backdoor flush draw -- it seems more like he is either on a pocket pair or slow playing a jack.

I think a pocket pair will pay off another $1000 bet, but I would think a slowplayed jack would then come back over the top for his remaining 3525. The pot would then be 11050 and cost you 3525 to call (leaving you with ~3000 in chips if you call and lost, vs ~6500 if you fold).

I definitely bet the river and I think $1000 -1500 is a nice amount (callable by someone with an underpair). I have to sit and think if he comes back over the top -- and I probably fold even with the 3:1 odds to call...

By the way, I probably check/fold on the turn. You made a decent (I would have bet 1/2 pot instead) cbet on the flop and he came along. Your c-bet on the turn is -EV IMHO. Sure, occasionally they will fold (and occasionally you'll spike an A or K on the river), but in general you'll end up building bigger pots with nothing but "nut no pair"

What is the purpose of that flop bet into a field with A high? Will worse hands like AQ call? Will better hands like TT fold? Does your hand need protecting? The answer to all three is "no."
