I never got this "skatebording is not a crime" stuff. Skatebording may not be but distruction of property is. I can remember back in HS kids complaining because they got "hassled" while skating through backyards or in front of buildings (private walks) and things.
Obviously that guy in the vids has daddy/authority issues and became a cop to beat on kids, but there are plenty of people that intentionally try to make situations worse in spots like that. Again, cops with hard-ons for abuse of power=bad. Kids that mess up other peoples property=also bad. Cody |

Mike V looks like he's the one to always throw the first shot and act like King Kong of turd island.
Kind of a jerk, imo. Kudos to him for escalating it. Yay. Looking at those twinks(at the convenience store), I doubt they were going to really do much. Makes me wonder a bit about what was going on before the cameras were conveniently rolling.(with the security gaurd or cop) Can't see what transpired prior in the first vid. Initially, there may be more to it. Choking? Doubt it. Nice exaggeration though. More like simple restraint. But it does get a little out of hand and over the top. b |

I'm usually pretty anti-cop, but this guy was just trying to arrest a person, and kept getting harassed by a group of people who he had told to back away.
I didn't see anything out of line. The first photo, maybe, but who knows the context of what happened originally. |

The kids were pretty damn retarded, but it didn't require throwing an arm around a 13 year old girl's neck. Also his hand was constantly on the back of the kid's neck while repeatedly saying "DIDN'T I TELL YOU TO STOP SKATEBOARDING?" Yeah, like that's going to do anything. Kids were retarded, cop was 10x as retarded. Hope he loses his job. EDIT: If it was also the "right thing" to do, then the other cop would have helped. If they posed any thread, the other cop would have helped. You don't need the "whole story" because if anything bad happened, the other cop would have helped. Instead, he reluctantly turns a kid over. |
