Default 50+9 Sit&Go can be beat?

Hello,

i think 9$ is a huge rake for a 50$ 6 player Sit&Go tournament which pays 1st 150$, 2nd 90$ and 3rd 60$. Some goes into a Jackpot (i do not know how much.)

Ok sorry if this is a stupid questions but i am new to STT, but can this STT be beat?
and if, then how much less will you get in profit?

for example: if you have a ROI of 15% in a normal 54$ STT, then would your win of 8.1$ be -5$=3.1$ because of the higher rake?

and its just a 6 player STT so if you compare it to a 10 player 54$ STT you would have to win it two times to get a profit of 200$, but then you pay 18$rake compared to the 4$ rake in the normal 10 player STT...

thanks

Of course it can be beat, just the rake is going to eat into your roi and make it less. Therefore you have to be that bit better compared to your opposition, to make the same amount in pure roi.

Surely the jackpot should be taken into account in your ev long term making it more beatable. Personally i wouldn't play them as the rake is a rip off and im not interested in some gimmick jackpot.
