Thanks for the great info Tom. After I read some more online today I saw alot about the huge swings. That being said, I doubt this will be worthwhile for me. I have a poker bankroll I've build from scratch which allows me to play, but I do not have spare money I'm willing to loose in the swings that seem to come with VP. The more I read, the more this looks like something I am able/or want to do.

Thanks for all the info though. I'm still gonna read up some more on it before I decide if I want to give it a shot. Also, since I'm about 1.5 hrs from Shreveport I don't get to go as much as I'd like and when I'm there, I'm usually spending 99% of my time with my feet under a poker table.

Wow, Lucky, I'm listing this thread as a favorite! Sounds like you had an enjoyable trip. Can you PM me the contact numbers for the HS and GS, heck, even the Sheraton looks good! I only play poka so I don't know if the Sheraton would be able to offer me much. Also, PM me the next time that you are heading over to the HS in BC, I'll try to make the trip.

Excellent trip report. I don't have any plans to go to Tunica but this was a good read. Thanks.

We really need a Tunica FAQ. A good place to start would be with the direct phone numbers for all of the rooms. Typical games spread, tournament schedules, etc would be good but harder to maintain.

It seems like there's been a "Tunica?" thread about once a month for years, and in every such thread there's a post saying, "Why isn't there a Tunica FAQ/sticky?" It never gets done, though.

I'd be willing to do some basic stuff like looking up phone numbers and addresses, and take PMs and cobble one together, but I'm pretty sure I've made this same offer before only to be ignored. If its not the strip or an underground NYC club, it doesn't matter to TT.

Last I heard the Isle of Capri has closed their room. I've never been in that joint (though I've driven by it several times) so I can't say for sure.
