Default $25NL (6-max) Button play with 88

I have my thoughts but I am interested to see what you would do in this posistion. I find it an interesting situation and hope to read some good replies.

Initial limper is entering 45% of the time. The raiser is playing 25 and 15 over a significant sample. However, I have never really tangled with this player.

Ultimate Bet No-Limit Hold'em, $.25 BB (6 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

SB ($11.12)
BB ($20.89)
UTG ($9.88)
MP ($46.81)
CO ($34.06)
Hero ($22.93)

Preflop: Hero is Button with 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
UTG calls $0.25, <font color="#CC3333">MP raises to $1.2</font>, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, hero?

This really depends on your image. If you're playing tag here, I'd re-rasise MP and cbet most flops. If you've been playing a lot of pots, I have a tendency to just call.

Personally I 3bet alot ot the time here. You often take down the pot right there, or a good portion of the time with a CB. Villan will be OOP the rest of the hand. Mid-PP's are favored over the range of a 25/15 player. Your creating a big pot for a hand thats generally easy to play post flop and has big pot potential.

sometimes i 3-bet here. Most of the time i'm calling here. Against this guy i would probably just call. I play my mid/low pocket PP very conservatively. No need to get fancy when u hit, usually u hit big. When u don't hit i'm out. I would 3 bet AQ, AK, KQs, TT+ here i think.

standard is relative to your system. I think this decision really depends on your image.
