Air force hasnt been calling people back. If they do decide to call me back, I just wont answer the door or unknown calls till they give up.

LOLZ Best of luck in your new adventures. It's harder for them to recall enlisted personell than officers but they can still do it. I got out right before 9/11 and got recalled right after it. By that point the Navy had fecked me about so much, I just told the detailer to have relations with himself and his ancestors. 2 Days later I got a call from an Admiral I had worked for recently, and he gave the "NewTeaBag, this is serious. You aren't allowed to say no." speech.

Either way, barring some unbelievable collapse in your particular enlisted rating/MOS or another global political event, you should be fine.

PS Given the basic description of what you did and the job you're heading into, I'm guessing you have a security clearance. The gubment is not at all adverse to using that as a lever against you if they wanted to recall you I.E. "OK, you won't respond to recall, we revoke your clearance and you lose your cushy contractor job!"

PPS Bravo to BBVers thanking your for your service. I saw precious little of that sentiment during my time in the military and out. SO I'll join in and say TY and GL.
