i thought the test was kind of stupid.
they ask how much should the person pay to the government for their act....that is stupid. in most of those cases (negligence) why should their be a payment to the government? there should be payments to the 'victim' to cover medical expenses etc. |

Just to note, it's not "how much should the victim get". It's how much should the person be fined for his/her action, and the money goes to a government fund. The average fine at the end is retarded. |

I just graduated law school and was viewing this from a tort perspective - my average fine was 1326 - for most of these people I didn't see any fault at all.

Also, for a Harvard-administered test, there sure are a lot of fundamental spelling and grammar errors in there.
