why are they only raising the minimum?

In unlimited hold them it's good to raise the minimum when you hold a monster b/c your opponent will never suspect you have such a big hand.

Is it possible that there are variations of poker with fixed betting limits. Hmmmmmm, I'll really have to think hard about this one.

Why would anyone play that? Surely it'd be really boring, really hard to win at, and have ultra-high variance? I'm glad that NL is the only form of poker.

But I thought the point of poker was to put a man to a decision for all his chips? Why would you play poker if there is no point?

Donald is one of the few guys that has only typed positive words into the chat. I also love his "quack quack."

Personally, I always make it a point to go after guys like dukies whenever i am in the game.

I hate listening to mediocre players bash bad players; can't imagine a better way to chase the fish away.

What was the point of this thread ?
