you kinda have to bet the river once you bet the turn since you have Q high. That said, since tags don't bet Ax on the turn if he's good he'll know the ace didn't help you.

Huh? I will definitley bet ace high here sometimes to try to get him to fold low pairs, why shouldn't I?

Yup totally agree, so what it comes down to is if he's got balls or not. There for I would bet 200ish+ on the river.
But again, the ace is a pretty bad card to bluff at.

I think you are thinking to much about the river. He could be C/C turn and fold if I fire on river again, even if it was a blank one, i.e. he called w/ mediocre pair on turn and when I fire river he fold.

I don't think the A is a good card for you here, although paradoxically a smaller bet might look more credible. Your 3/4 pot river bet looks very suspicious as up to that point you are repping an overpair to the board, and you would very likely check that down at the end or VB very small unless - obviously - it was AA.

You now look like you are bluffing with nothing or a small pair. I would probably look you up with a 9 or 66-88.

And of course it is possible that villain has a set or 54, although for the reasons above I would think that a goodish villain might not expect you to bet the river with TT-KK, so he would probably lead.

Duh... but all the small pairs have made sets or a wheel. Sorry for missing that. I still think its a bit suspect, and I still think you'll get looked up by a nine or better.

I really like it, esp on this river I think hands like 10 10 and JJ give up maybe better
