Re: Chris Benoit and Wife found dead
[ QUOTE ]
Looks like Benoit was not the stand-up guy many people believed. Press conference reveals a DUI in another county in GA and his wife filed for a restraining order in 2003. So it wasn't really a Jekyll/Hyde thing here - more like a guy who had issues all along. Still surprising how with all the fakeness that the whole wrestling scene is based on that so many people reached the conclusion that Benoit was a "great guy". [/ QUOTE ] Yeah, 'cause a DUI is a sign that you're going to kill people. Jesus christ you are a horrible, stupid, poster. |

[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] http://www.pwtorch.com/artman/publis...le_20656.shtml More news, Benoit's son had "Fragile X" syndrome. [/ QUOTE ] W.K. Analysis: This may explain why Daniel was taking growth hormone injections. It also may shed light onto why Chris didn't want someone else raising his son and made the fateful decision to kill him. As irrrational and twisted as it may sound, he may have felt he was saving his son from the double-blow of losing his parents through a murder-suicide and being subject to being raised by people who didn't understand or care for his condition. This is the biggest steaming pile of crap I've read in a long time. This story is really sad, but continuing to make excuses for this guy is stupid. [/ QUOTE ] So wait wait wait...you're willing to go so far as to accept that the guy went crazy enough to kill his wife and son over a two-day span, but not that he was crazy enough to believe he was keeping his son from living a painful life without his parents? Get your story straight one of these times. [/ QUOTE ] The guy who did the analysis is not a psycologist. He's a wrestling reporter. But when you're crazy you're crazy I guess. |

Re: Chris Benoit and Wife found dead
[ QUOTE ]
I often wonder if people who do unbelievably horrible things are more worthy of our pity or our scorn. That woman who drowned her kids in the bathtub, this wrestler, others that have done unimaginably horrible things. With or without remeditation or cover-up, any action like this is nothing but sick. Is it evil? Are there crimes that are so royally [censored] up that almost by definition those who commit them CANNOT be playing with a full deck? Should this have an effect on how we judge those who commit these crimes? These aren't intended to be leading questions, I really don't know the answers. Occasions like this make me think about them. I am a huge wikipedia guy and I thought I would share some interesting findings of my own. I saved these for this reason.
As you can see in the first link here down in red is the edit. Made around midnight CST on Sunday night/Monday morning. 14 hours before the police went to Benoit's house. http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?...ldid=140442953 This 2nd link here is where a mod went back and changed it about 10 minutes later to "unknown reasons" http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?...ldid=140442953 Here is the kicker: The IP address from the 1st link who edited it is 69.120.111.23 When you insert that here in http://www.geobytes.com/IpLocator.htm?GetLocation The location was in Stamford CT...Which just so happens to be where the WWE HQ is at...Hmmmmm someone in WWE knew Sunday night she was dead.... |

Re: Chris Benoit and Wife found dead
[ QUOTE ]
I'm just saying that there is ZERO evidence to indicate this "analysis" is the case. Barring a suicide note or something, it's unlikely anyone will know why Benoit did this. Grabbing at straws and trying to dream up some explanation that makes him appear sympathetic in the least just doesn't fly with me. [/ QUOTE ] First of all, explanations =/= excuses. Attempting to analyze the situation and figure out WHY someone murdered their family isn't an attempt to make him look sympathetic. Whether you believe it or not, people don't just murder loved ones for the hell of it. One potential explanation is the one above. Another is that he found out Nancy was leaving and planned this out. We don't know. But offering up potential explanations is the natural course of this story. |
