NL10 - AA facing a turn C/R 170 BB\'s deep, can we find a fold?
Poker Stars - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.05/$0.10 Blinds - 6 Players - (LegoPoker HH Converter)
Hero (SB): $23.75 Villian (BB): $17.05 UTG: $16.90 MP: $5.40 CO: $3.15 BTN: $34.80 Reads: <font color="blue">Villian is 29/3/1.17 after about 60 hands. He got his stack by calling from BB with ATo, flopping top two and stacking the table donk when he filled up on the river.</font> Preflop: Hero is dealt A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (6 Players) UTG folds, MP calls $0.10, 2 folds, <font color="red">Hero raises to $0.65</font>, Villian calls $0.55, MP calls $0.55 Flop: ($1.95) J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 Players) <font color="red">Hero bets $1.90</font>, Villian calls $1.90, MP folds Turn: ($5.75) 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 Players) <font color="red">Hero bets $4.50</font>, <font color="red">Villian raises all-in to $14.50</font>, Hero ??? In retrospect, I think I should have checked the turn, as I felt a set was a likely holding (I actually said to my buddy on the flop this felt like a hand to get setted on) and it would give me an opportunity for a free/cheap draw to the flush. With that being said, can we fold here, or given the pot odds and the redraw is this a call? Please comment on the call/fold decision, as well as whether or not a turn checked would have been wise. Thanks. Edited: I forgot I wasn't in position, couldn't guarantee a free draw. Oops. |

I like your play... you have to bet the turn. As played, your behind, fold to his push.

i would have c/r the turn figuring u still have outs if ur behind and if he has nothing u can get him off his hand.

Well I did some poker stoving and got these results.
Text results appended to pokerstove.txt 616 games 0.005 secs 123,200 games/sec Board: Js 7h 6s 3s Dead: equity win tie pots won pots tied Hand 0: 64.610% 64.61% 00.00% 398 0.00 { AhAs } Hand 1: 35.390% 35.39% 00.00% 218 0.00 { 77-66, AsQs, AJs, AsTs, As9s, As8s, Ac7c, Ad7d, As7s, As6s, AJo } So it's a call for me |
