the only range i see that SB could have been on to beat you would be KK or AA, maybe 88?

Ewww @ shoving pre.

Easy flop push.

[/ QUOTE ]

shoving QQ preflop online pretty much can never be bad. AK might even fold and if so, that is a huge coup.

i don't think he folds AK very often cause he's getting decent pot odds and our hand looks a lot like AK. i think he will fold TT, maybe JJ, so not a lot of value for us.

i like the op's line as long as he called push.

I'd say ez turn fold. WA/WB on flop, and now looks like you're wayy behind.

call, move on. i think that calling flop with the intention of folding a blank turn is nasty. shoving flop doesnt look so bad either.

i prefer the call preflop instead of pushing. i would push the flop, but as played call the turn, your gettin nice odds and insta shove from villian suggest weakness

I'd call, look at his inferior hand and laugh

OR

about 1/3 of the times he's got AA/KK and I go OMG I'M SO STUPID I SHOULD HAVE RE-RERAISED PREFLOP SO I COULD FOLD TO A PUSH! (Not that I WOULD, but I get a bit tilted when I get it in with the worst of it)

He most likely got 99-JJ, maybe even a hand like 77 and maybe even two overcards, but he figure he is so deep he got to go with his hand. (Based on his stats, and how ppl tend to do strange plays with AA/KK)

EDIT: I'd expect a check/all in on turn with AA/KK more often than not, and a push more often than not with any other overpair. That's what i meant with "strange plays". If he checks turn I check behind 100% and hope for a Q. Also I often see AK here. I think the human mind sometimes go "WTF, I HAVE AK, WHY DON'T U FOLD??!?!" and this is one of those situations if he got AK.
