Re: downcall 2
What is SB raising here into a field of four people?

Re: downcall 2
you are drawing pretty thin here enough to fold the turn. it seems like an easy decision, unless you have some solid info on the villian which you aren't sharing, he'd have to be pretty bad to check raise here without a K, given the amount of players who saw the flop

What is SB raising here into a field of four people? [/ QUOTE ] I think a lot of people c/r the flop with a worse 8. I don't know if it happens often enough to justify continuing past the turn though. |

[/ QUOTE ] I'm not sure people are c-raising here with hands like T8 or J8...I would c-raise here with A8 or K8 definitely but J8 may be wishful thinking. |

[/ QUOTE ] You have to remember not to put villains on ranges of what YOU would do. I can tell you for a fact that I know plenty of people that would c/r J8, T8, and even 98. I think in the past, I might have even tried something such as that. Just because a move isn't correct, doesn't mean our opponents won't try it. |

Re: downcall 2
OK, villain is also laggier than I thought (I confused this thread with gemmer's other one) so any 8 is a possibility.
