But the timeline given involved having one dead body (wife) in the house for two days and a dead kid in the house for one day before he killed himself. And not just "dead bodies" but those of his wife and kid. I just can't wrap my head around that level of creepiness. [/ QUOTE ] This is 100% my guess as to what happened and I have no evidence or data to suggest my theory... My guess is he was upset and in an unplanned rage killed (maybe accedently) his wife. After shes dead he doesnt know what to do, kills his son because he knows he will kill himself, not wanted to go to jail, and to "protect" (in his mind) his son from childhood/adult trama, takes his life too.

Obviously Chris Beniot is a product of steroids. It would not suprise me in the least if Barry Bonds goes postal one day.
On another note, the guy was a loser. I saw him freak out in a bar one night on a patron. Just another jacked up loser wrestler biting the dust, though it sucks he took his family with him. Rot in Hell Chris "Steroid" Benoit

just watched a video segment on cnn.com according to a CNN affiliate, the fayette county sheriff's department had been getting calls for the past 2 weeks from wrestling fans inquiring whether benoit was dead. that... that's crazy.

Very sad, Benoit was one of my favorite few wrestlers, and I really wanted to believe he wasn't capable of this. I'll still enjoy his matches.

I think it's time the fans pressure WWE to start strictly enforcing drug and steroid policies. All of the young deaths and now something like this? Something has to be done and now.
