Default Who came out best in this deal?

Ok the situation is there was one £2500 holiday to Vegas for first prize; 2nd 3rd and 4th would receive nothing.

However the winner could take the money instead.

With 4 left the stacks and the deal done were as follows:

1st) 80000 chips £950
2nd) 63000 chips £800
3rd) 26000 chips £400
4th) 20000 chips £350

Total Chips 189000

I ask as its an interesting situation bcause only 1st place paid; ive a sneeking suspicion that 2nd place actually came off best but i have no idea how to crunch the numbers given the zero prize.

Thanks

Actually it is trivial when there is only one prize--- the expected value to each player (assuming equal skill) is exactly proportional to stack sizes.

The payouts by stack size would be:
£1058
£833
£344
£265

The third- and fourth- place players came out best.
