NL10 AQo Possible straight
Nothing interresting about the opponent.
He limped in Preflop so I made a big raise to save my position and for value. He could to that with an KT+ or 66 to TT. How about my play ? ( I play shortstack, doubled up a view orbits before. I am very aggressive above 3.5 and very thight I play only premium hands) PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.10 BB (9 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums) saw flop|saw showdown MP2 ($11.25) MP3 ($10.45) CO ($7.05) Button ($8.45) SB ($12.10) BB ($8.45) UTG ($5.50) UTG+1 ($9.15) Hero ($3.30) Preflop: Hero is MP1 with A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. 1 fold, UTG+1 calls $0.10, Hero raises to $0.5, 4 folds, SB calls $0.45, 1 fold, UTG+1 calls $0.40. Re: NL10 AQo Possible straight
Nothing wrong with the call if thats what you are asking. You have 2/3 of your stack in there already. You should sit with a full buyin to begin with though.

Re: NL10 AQo Possible straight
dont play so short. play with full buy ins, you will make more this way. i think call the flop since you are getting amazing odds to draw but a raise with so little left behind leaves you committed and with an ineffective stack. you have 2 overs and and OESD but there is a flush draw and a very straightened baord. call, make your straight, or if you hit the ace call small bets but i think fold to lard ones (IE pot size bet on the river would indicate a big hand or a bluff and with out a great read and a marginal holding its a fold. the hand didnt play this way but a call is the best on the flop.)

Re: NL10 AQo Possible straight
Man I play Shortstack strategy. You sit there only with a 20 BB deep stack.

reload pf
ya, I might just push pf. As played I either flat call the bet or push on the flop. Get the most fold equity possible and not leave yourself with something dumb like $1.30 that you gotta put in on the turn anyway with no fold equity. |
