Default Bet the turn?

In retrospect I think I should have bet the turn, but figured I may be check raised by the ace, or bluffed on the river by a worse hand.

Full Tilt 8/16 Hold'em (9 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

Preflop: Hero is Button with K, K.
3 folds</font>, MP3 raises</font>, 1 fold</font>, Hero 3-bets</font>, 2 folds</font>, MP3 calls.

Flop: (7.50 SB) 8, A, J (3 players)</font>
MP3 checks, Hero bets</font>, MP3 calls.

Turn: (4.75 BB) T (3 players)</font>
MP3 checks, Hero checks.

Check. You're running out of stuff you can beat(QT T9 type stuff I guess) you have a good draw and a good hand.

Also, checking behind on the turn, and getting checked to on the river, he'll probably pay you off with any pair, whereas he might fold some weaker holdings on the turn.

Yep, check. You don't want to be raised here; can't fold.

It's hard to imagine MP3 having a hand that you beat and which has more than 2 outs to beat you on the river, which makes this a pretty routine check through/call a bet UI scenario. Plus of course the fact that you have a ton of outs to redraw against an ace &amp; can't fold to a c/r because of that.

with a read or a big pot i would bet that turn in a heartbeat. given the pot size against an unknown i love the check behind.
