I am just getting started in 6-max PLO from NLHE, and at first I was playing way too tight (25/12ish)

I made an effort to loosen up and have been running closer to 40/20, which definately seems more optimal

You guys are running at those numbers 6 handed or at FR? If that's 6 handed, you are playing way, way too tight. I cannot see how it's profitable to nut peddle playing 27% of your hands. Full ring that's not terrible, but I'd think you'd want to be in the 35-40% range at least.

Party mid-stakes are essentially allways full-ring. But yes, I am a playing very-tight preflop at the moment.

What sort of VPIP/PFR do you think would be optimal at 6-max and full-ring?

Can't be bothered filtering but my stats across my whole database are like 30/12 which is full-ring, 6-max and shorter. The majority is at 6-max which means those stats probably represent my game fairly accurately.

It also shows 8.9 PTBB/100 over ~40k hands (I suck at playing heaps), so it's definitely been profitable.

At Party which I've been playing mostly of late, my stats are something nitty like 27/8 but again, I try to play more shorthanded where possible.

It seems there are a wide range of possible preflop stats where one can be a winner (newsflash: Omaha requires postflop skills!), where as NLHE has those 'optimal' TAG stats of like 22/17 or whatever and if you're a 'LAG' it's like 35/28.

Edit: Note - if your stats start looking like 75/3 or whatever, that's probably not optimal, otherwise it's pretty flexible.

My stats are 23/8 over 5k hands. Over the last 2500 my bb/100 went to [censored] and I'm afraid its not going to get over 5bb/100 in the next 5k hands. I have some post flop leaks somewhere.

i'm a fairly big 6max winner from 2-4 through 5-10 and I play 30/18ish... maybe 28/18. One of the biggest winners I play with is 22/12.

in january I was playing 40/20, but I've tightened up alot OOP.
