Default How long would it take you??

This is for all above average players. If you had 3k and couldnt lose it...how long would it take you to make 25-30k. Just curious and had a bet with a friend that on average it would take approx 6 to 8 months. Your thoughts??

3k and I couldn't lose it? Say one spinn on the roulette takes 30sec max.

3k->6k 30sec
6k->12k 1min
12k->24k 1min 30sec

So about 2 minutes. But I problaby wouldn't stop until I was at something like 100 million k's

Kind of a brag thread, but I could do it in 5-6 months playing my usual NL200-500 + big rakeback.

Some of the best / harder working players can do it under 2 months at these limits.

Interesting. TY for the reply. Interested on how many tables and when you say 200-500 NL, you are talking about the buy ins and not the blinds right?? lol

You have too many variables to get any numbers that will be meaningful to you

- How profitable is a player at a given level?
- How does that profitability change as limits go up?
- How does that profitability change as concurrent tables go up?

Even if you knew all of this very well, there's always going to be a reasonable amount of variance. For players with a small profitability, this could have a big impact on how long it really takes.

Regardless, at my current rate it would take years.

Well lets take an average winrate of about 5PTBB/100 hands thats 10BB/100, say you play half your hands at 200 and half at 500, so that would be $35/100 hands. The take, I dunno, 30,000 a month. That's 10,500 a month.

I play micro stakes so I'm not sure if 5PTBB/100 is a optamistic/pessamistic winrate at these levels.
