Internship open...
Alright, I'm finally moving on the internship. Right now it is open to everyone including those who can only work remotely. I'm sure it will be a significant advantage to be in NYC but at this point it's not required. PM me for an email address and then email me a cover letter/resume which I will forward on.
To be clear, the internship is not with SM. It is with a microcap value oriented hedge fund in NYC. The position would be an assistant to the analyst but I would expect some exposure to the portfolio manager also. SM and I reserve the right to use you if the need arises but the primary arrangement will be with the hedge fund. Krishan |

Re: Internship open...
Didn't he already post about this? I might be wrong, but I thought I saw this mentioned somewhere else. Do we need another thread?

I won't lock this, I just wanted to make sure SM hadn't made a thread saying the same thing. |

Re: Internship open...
Krishan, any idea what kind of time commitment this internship requires? The reason I ask is I am in my senior year of school (undergrad), and this appears to be exactly what I will be looking for after graduation. However, being that I am in school, I can't work a full-time affair. Also, are they long-only or is there any information about their hedging?
Thanks |

at a different time/point in my life, this would have been attractive.

Re: Internship open...
What are they looking for? I'm only going to be a Junior undergrad, but would be willing to relocate to NYC and work, even if it's for a year or so. What would a strong resume include? |

Sigh, I'd love to do this but I have no qualifications at all. *tear drop*

Certainly should double check. Off the top of my head I think they are 80 long/30 short but most of the work is done on the long side. Krishan |
