FWIW you can always call and ask to talk to a casino host and they'll tell you what their policies are

Easiest to do if you're not the biggest better at the table. If you are then you can all but forget about it. If someone is betting purple, then it's easy to rathole purple and for sure black chips. Casino keep an eye on the pumpkins and higher, so unless you're REALLY at a high roller table then don't try.

Palm a few chips and then slide your hand into your pocket to get a piece of gum or chapstick, or whatever.

I love that Ellis Island breakfast. My girlfriend won't step foot in there, but I think it's a steal

daliman - when you're playing heads up (and the count is bad) do you ever just stop and make them shuffle?

i would have thought this was a huge no-no, but i was playing at wynn last week and the dealer recommended i do this.

If you're betting $300/hand AND getting RFB, then you shouldn't be demanding a suite, but I'd think you should get a mini suite every now and then. If you're up around $500/hand AND playing for 4 hours a day then you should get at suite I'd think.

Try the Venetian.

If you bet enough they'll comp anything even spa treatments and the cabana

Not sure this is the place to ask

I am going to Vegas with the gf in August and the only gambling I'll be able to do is playing the quarter slots for a few hours. Will this let me get free drinks? Does everyone get free drinks at a casino? I'll be at the MGM

i've gotten free drinks playing penny video poker. basically, if you can flag down a waitress you can get drinks. but try tipping and being extra friendly if you want them to come back (if you're lucky enough to spot one in the first place).

This is a great thread, thanks for sharing the info Daliman. I've been meaning to start taking comps seriously but I've been scared (I know, stupid as hell) to ask about it directly, as if asking for free stuff is somehow bad while I'm handing them over my money with the other hand. I'm gonna try this out in a couple weeks and see how it goes.

Can you call for a "new setup" in BJ the way you can in poker? The superstitious old coots do it all the time.
