Default 3/6 Flopped Straight on Action Board

3/6 Star 6-Handed

This is the type of hand that I think I play horribly.

I am UTG with K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
I naturally raise and UTG+1, SB, BB Call. All 3 players seem pretty horrible. I don't remember their stats.

Flop is J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]10[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. A perfect Flop for me. It makes a great hand for me and it likely hits my opponents ranges.

BB checks, SB Bets. I Raise or Call?

raise. two tiny cards always fold anyway and bad players will call any number of bets with any K, Q, J, T, 9, or 8 on this flop.

Ive said this before and i'll say it again. If you never slowplay a straight your play will be very close to optimal. Whenever you flop a straight, there will always be many possible 2nd best hands out that will gladly give you action and theres always too many scare cards that can hit the turn that may kill your action. So get the money in as fast as possible.

I raised. The next 2 players folded. BB calls me down. I always play these hands as fast as possible but there seems to be lots of times (like this) where I get minimal value.
