Animated .gifs and firefox, anyone have problems?

Animated gifs (in avatars, posted in threads, on other sites), all animate very jerky and inconsistent in Firefox for me. They animated perfectly smooth in IE. Anyone else experience this? Haven't been able to find anything via google or firefox knowledge base.

Disclaimer: I know this is a 'software' issue, but I know there has been plenty of firefox discussion here in the past, and lots of OOTers use firefox.

They animate very fast for me. Kinda funny with the bouncy boobs ones and such.
